It’s no secret that I love traveling to new places so, when the opportunity to shoot Las Vegas based brand, Katelyn Makes, I grabbed a plane ticket and headed out West. Katelyn Makes is a small-batch clay accessory company creating fun, bohemian earrings and hair clips and man did I have fun photographing them. We were graciously allowed to shoot at Carrie Lynn’s plant shop in the super hip Ferguson’s Downtown shopping center. With 4 models, including Katelyn Faye, the owner of Katelyn Makes, we shot a combination of lifestyle and more editorial style imagery to create a mix of content choices. As a Las Vegas brand photographer, I always want to ensure that my client walks away from their session with months of content for their website and social media accounts and I am confident we did just that in just 2 hours on site!
